DENNIS, a band whose name brings to mind classic A’s closer Dennis Eckersley and countless other great Dennis-es of past and present, does it justice. The Minneapolis three-piece crafts textured, ‘ratpop’ tunes, meshing the sweetness of Sweet Tarts with the substantive character of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. These songs are catchy as hell, and without any bad aftertaste.
