I had never heard The Shrinking Violets before they played in Garth’s Living Room. But wow. From the very first seconds of their set I was in shock. Drawing on but not limited to influences of power pop, arena rock, and punk, the Shrinking Violets bring a sound that is at once rooted in decades-old rock traditions and refreshingly new and unique in the current music scene. If you need any more proof, just wait for those sweet guitar harmonies!
