I don\u2019t know much about music but I know what I like. This is what I liked last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Albums:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAISY by rusowsky<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My housemate Alice plays music on the speaker in our living room pretty much any time she\u2019s home. In October-ish, the song MalibU came up on shuffle and I saved it and listened to it 10 more times that day. DAISY is my number one album of the year. It\u2019s so catchy even though I barely know Spanish. I can\u2019t put my finger on why it\u2019s so addictive to listen to, but it just is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite tracks: SOPHIA, ALTAGAMA, and MalibU<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DeB\u00cd TiRaR M\u00e1S FOTos by Bad Bunny<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rolling Stone listed this as their #1 album of the year. I think it was definitely the most influential album to come out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite tracks: DtMF, NUEVAYoL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moon Is In The Wrong Place by Shannon and the Clams<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story behind this album is very touching, read about it on their website https:\/\/www.shannonandtheclams.com\/bio<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite tracks: Real or Magic, Bean Fields, What You\u2019re Missing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Purple Bird by Bonnie \u201cPrince\u201d Billy<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one makes me cry.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite track: The Water\u2019s Fine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sugar On My Tongue by Tyler, the Creator<\/em> Very fun dance and jumping song<\/p>\n\n\n\n

body heat by binki<\/em> This song feels like an Autumn walk.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crucified Son by Charley Crockett<\/em> This was the song I liked the most from his most recent album.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Show and Tell by Benjamin Booker<\/em> I heard this one on KUTX, my favorite radio station to listen to when I\u2019m in Austin. It feels like spring time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOKIA by Drake<\/em> I can\u2019t frown listening to this song! I don\u2019t have anything to say about Drake.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Want You (Fever) by Momma<\/em> I found this song very romantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ian\u2019s XXL Freshman Freestyle<\/em> This song made me laugh more than any other this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cobra by Geese<\/em> I love how much Cameron Winter\u2019s voice sounds like Rufus Wainwright’s.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make My World by Dorio<\/em> Fun pop track out of Austin. Good album too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honorary 2025 tracks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sloop John B by The Beach Boys<\/em> because Brian Wilson died.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summerboy by Lady Gaga<\/em> was the definite song of the Summer. It was everywhere and it was beautiful.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mo\u2019 Liquor by Kari Faux ft. Smino<\/em> was my most played song of the year. I would listen to it on repeat on the way to work in April.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some mornings I woke up and watched this video before getting dressed for school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best concerts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big Wy\u2019s Brass Band at 21st Street Co-op for WESTxWEST CAMPUS on March 7<\/em>: I have loved BWBB since I first saw them perform in 8th grade. They have only gotten more fun with age. An Austin, Texas staple.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shannon and the Clams at The Historic Scoot\u2019s Inn<\/em>: I went with my mom and stepdad who had never heard of the band but loved them by the end. Incredible performers. I was captivated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
